Exclusive: Exness regional director for MENA Mohamad Ibrahim departs

FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that Mohamad Ibrahim has resigned his position as Regional Director for Exness in the MENA region.

Mohamad Ibrahim had been with Exness for three years, joining the company from ICM.com. He had also previously worked at MultiBank and at FXCM.

Mr. Ibrahim helped turn Exness, which has become the world’s leading Retail FX and CFDs broker with more than $2 trillion in monthly volumes, into a market leader in the Middle East region, which was responsible for a good part of Exness’ success in the past few years. Around the time he joined Exness the company scaled back its European retail business to focus on B2B services, while growing its retail offering mainly in the MENA region and in the Far East.

Mohamad Ibrahim posted the following note this morning on social media:

After three incredible years full of great achievements, the time has come for me to move on to the next chapter in my career and part ways with Exness.

Under my leadership, Exness has grown from being a new brand in the Middle East and North Africa, to now being a market leader with a strong local presence and rising brand awareness in the region and across the globe.

Starting with one employee, Exness MENA team has now grown to become 40+ of the most talented people in the industry. Starting with a few hundred clients we now count much more than thousands of active clients. In addition to this, a handful of partners has turned into hundreds, not to mention the enormous growth in trading volume.

We have created a legacy in terms of local presence and treating our clients/partners in an outstanding way, through personal connections, creative ideas, and unique experiences, setting a new benchmark in the industry not only in the region but even globally.

I could not have achieved the above without the ongoing support from the Exness management, particularly Artem Seledtsov, and without the strong foundations of a truly professional company that made it such a thrilling experience and enjoyable effort to elevate the Exness brand.

Finally, I would like to thank every one of my team members for their talent and contribution in making magic happen over the past few years. Also special thanks to all partners and clients who believed in us during this period.

I will be working with Exness for the next few weeks to ensure a smooth transition before my next venture, which I very much look forward to sharing with you soon.
