The summit took place at a time when the world is experiencing one of the most significant turning points in human history. Artificial Intelligence is no longer an emerging technology; it has become a transformative force reshaping economies, industries, labor markets, education, and the way societies function.
Throughout the summit, participants engaged in a series of high-level discussions addressing the future of Artificial Intelligence, digital transformation, financial technology (FinTech), cybersecurity, financial inclusion, and the role of women in leading the future of the digital economy.
The summit also hosted prominent leaders and experts from Jordan and several Arab and international countries, creating a platform for exchanging insights and perspectives on the opportunities and challenges arising from the rapid advancement of technology and AI.
Participants emphasized that the global race is no longer simply about acquiring technology, but about developing the skills, talent, and leadership capabilities required to drive transformation and innovation. They stressed that investing in women is no longer solely an issue of empowerment; it has become an economic, developmental, and strategic imperative directly linked to a nation’s ability to compete and thrive in the digital age.
The event featured interactive sessions, live audience polls, and specialized workshops focused on the future of work in the age of Artificial Intelligence, cybersecurity, digital awareness, and the impact of emerging technologies on the global economy.
As part of the summit, Jordan also hosted the national qualifiers for the Startup World Cup in collaboration with Pegasus Tech Ventures from Silicon Valley. The competition provided Jordanian startups with an opportunity to present their innovative ideas before a distinguished jury panel and compete for qualification to the global finals.
At the conclusion of the summit, AFAQ Group for Media and Events Management expressed its appreciation to all partners, speakers, participants, and supporting organizations, reaffirming its commitment to building knowledge-driven and collaborative platforms that foster innovation, support women’s leadership, and accelerate digital transformation across the region.
The organizers emphasized a central message that defined the spirit of GWTS 2026: the future of Artificial Intelligence will not be shaped by algorithms alone, but by human minds capable of creativity, leadership, critical thinking, and transforming technology into opportunities that benefit society.
