Bloomberg, 2 trading firms subscribe to faster access to Trump posts- Reuters

Truth Social– a social media platform founded by U.S. President Donald Trump– has signed on Bloomberg and two Wall Street firms for faster access to the president’s posts, Reuters reported on Wednesday.

The two firms are Susquehanna International Group and Jump Trading, Reuters reported, citing people with direct knowledge of the matter.

The service, for which Truth Social charges up to $100,000 a month, gives users faster access to Trump’s posts on the social media site.

His posts are known to cause wild swings in financial markets, with the service potentially giving subscribers a clear advantage over everyday investors.

Trump Media & Technology Group Corp (NASDAQ:DJT), which runs Truth Social, had unveiled the service in July, pitching it to news and trading firms. But the service was criticized for being unethical on the grounds that Trump was selling paid access to his statements as a sitting president.

Trump Media had in August told investors it had signed more than 10 customers for the service.
