Industrial producers’ index down 7.8pct in first 7 months of 2020

The Industrial Producers’ Prices index dropped by 7.86 percent in the first seven months of 2020, amounting to 110.76 compared to 120.21 during the same period in 2019, according to the Department of Statistics (DoS)

According to the department’s monthly report released on Tuesday, the Industrial Producers’ Prices index for July of this year went down by 8.65 percent reaching 108.76 compared to 119.06 during the same month of last year

Comparing the Industrial Producers’ Prices index for July to June of this year, the data show a 4.45 percent rise reaching 108.76 in July compared to 104.12 in June
